Anastasis tzanis

Anastasis is a Nutritionist and Yoga Teacher from Athens, living in North London. He is a highly esteemed handstand coach, an expert on improving metabolic function with diet and exercise and regularly runs ice-bath and handstand workshops all over London.

From Anastasis:

“I served in the special forces as a paratrooper, worked in investment banking and picked up more dopamine-driven hobbies before starting practicing Yoga and studying nutrition in January 2010. I was interested in nutrition way before my formal studies – and after healing myself from Chronic Fatigue and helping a friend recover from a Bipolar episode, I realised that many people could be helped with the power of nutrition.

I received a 1st class at the Institute for Optimal Nutrition and now specialise in optimisation of the metabolism and supporting people receiving medical care for cancer and autoimmune conditions. More recently I have undertaken studies with Patrick McKowen and Wim Hoff have played a pivotal role in my understanding of human anatomy – their techniques have been incorporated in to both my yoga teaching and clinical practice.”
